For our light affliction,
which is but for a moment,
worketh for us a far more
exceeding and eternal
weight of glory

How much does glory weigh?
Apparently enough to make Paul's tribulations seem mere feathers
on a scale when compared to this glory.
This weight, which we'll cast at Jesus' throne somewhere near the 'beginning' of our eternity with Him, I imagine, will be the product of our struggles and tribulations.
*note the comparison of light/weighty, momentary/eternal. (I LOVE IT)
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and
shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad:
for great is your reward in heaven
Matthew 5:11-12

And apparently there is nothing stopping us from reaping these blessings;
other than the fact that we have a natural tendency to hate meekness, humbleness,
persecution, ect.
However, if you share Paul's passion to
receive the "prize",
the high calling,
the weight of glory;
you will no doubt have to set your eyes on Christ, and long to bring Him
a higher worship,
a purer 'crown',
and heavier glory.
Paul was able to look past his suffering, and see it as joy, because he was not looking merely at the suffering, but what was behind it.
So let us take up our cross and exclaim,
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
